I am currently a Los Angeles-based Art Director looking for new and exciting opportunities. I focus on brand strategy, conceptual design thinking, and creative problem solving. I utilize these skills on a variety of mediums including digital, experiential, and print. I have strengths in design, illustration, photography, and typography.

My training began at Azusa Pacific University where I studied journalism, graphic design, and communication studies. My skills were further finessed by mentorships with award-winning Creative Director Siung Tjia and critically-acclaimed Creative Director Nate Lu. A few of the lessons I learned during this time I continue to carry on in my instruction and development with my own creative teams: developing meaning and concepts in everything we create and finding inspiration and solutions in everything we see, hear, and read.

Most recently, I was consulting with digital start up Gloo in Boulder, Colorado as an Art Director/Senior Graphic Designer. I led my team in developing a brand analysis system to determine a client's presence in platform and developed a best practices guide for developing creative content in platform. Before that, I was the in-house art director, brand manager, and creative team project manager for three and a half years at Foursquare Communications. I oversaw the Foursquare visual brand presence across multi-platforms: digital, print, experiential, and video.

As an intensely self-competitive person, I am constantly trying to improve and enhance projects each year. Some of my great success comes from developing and challenging my design teams to bring out their full potential.
